Apart from the main cast, you’ll find Emmy-nominated actress Linda Cardellini. If you’re familiar with Netflix’s “Dead to Me,” you might remember Cardellini as Judy Hale, one of the show’s leading characters, sharing screen time with Christina Applegate. However, in “No Good Deed,” Cardellini portrays a character significantly different from her gentle-hearted Judy from “Dead to Me.
During a chat with Netflix, Feldman characterized Cardellini’s Margo Sterling as a “Los Angeleno who favors cherry-red wedge shoes.” This character, a house flipper with hidden past, is portrayed as tough and ambitious by Feldman. He initially conceptualized Margo while working on the final season of Dead to Me. Regarding the new series, Feldman stated, “I had already begun envisioning this world of Los Angeles real estate and thinking, ‘Why hasn’t there been a show about the buying and selling of one house and all the people who are connected to it…’.
