Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for movies like Animal and Kabir Singh, was preparing for his upcoming film Spirit, starring Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. But lately, news about Sandeep’s rift with DP has been circulating. After facing creative clashes and disputes, the director announced Triptii Dimri as the female lead opposite Prabhas on social media. For those unfamiliar, Deepika Padukone joined the Sandeep’s Spirit project alongside Prabhas. However, according to Bollywood Hungama’s sources, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga was taken aback when Deepika Padukone expressed her inability to work for more than six hours a day on Spirit. Moreover, through her agency, Deepika reportedly started requesting changes to the contract.
Additionally, it was mentioned that their primary argument was straightforward: if the filming period surpassed 100 days, an additional payment would be required for each day beyond the initial agreement, specifically for Deepika.

Afterward, Sandeep Reddy Vanga utilized his platform on X (previously known as Twitter) to reveal that they had cast Triptii Dimri in the role of the female lead for the film titled Spirit. According to Telugu 360, Triptii reportedly asked for and received a fee of Rs 4 crore for her work on Spirit alongside Prabhas.
Simultaneously, Spirit signifies the first shared screen appearance of Prabhas and Triptii Dimri. Notably, this is also Triptii’s second project with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, following their successful venture ‘Animal’, which starred Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.
