- Delta Force, the multiplatform revival of the hit shooter series, is out now
- It features both tight, tactical extraction shooter gameplay and an even bigger 24v24 mode
- You can duke it out on the land, sea or in the sky with a variety of vehicles
Garena has recently launched its cross-platform addition to the popular Delta Force tactical shooting series. This version is now available for download on iOS and Android devices, slightly later than initially planned. The game offers strategic gameplay in a familiar extraction shooter setting, but what sets it apart are the promises of larger 24 vs 24 battles across various environments like air, sea, and land.
Initially, the mobile version of Delta Force debuts with the latest season, Eclipse Vigil, featuring a mysterious map themed around night and twilight for both Operations and Warfare. Additionally, this update introduces advanced night-vision equipment, while the newest operative, Nox, brings stealthy skills to players who enjoy tactical play and deception on the battlefield.
It’s not surprising that there’s been so much anticipation for the release of Delta Force, given that Garena has reported over 25 million pre-registrations before its launch. This excitement is likely fueled by assurances that it won’t have a “pay-to-win” system, an in-game marketplace for trading equipment, cross-progression, and other core features.
Light up the night
In their latest update, Delta Force mobile isn’t only offering new maps and significant enhancements, but Garena is also unveiling a collection of additional features. One of these highly anticipated features is the Kill Cam, a standard element in first-person shooters. Moreover, the sound design has undergone an upgrade, which is particularly important for recently introduced low-light maps like Blackout and Trench Lines.
Additionally to the upcoming event ‘Critical Point’, new weapons, gadgets, and vehicles are being introduced. Under specific conditions, the Threshold map undergoes a change, which is quite intriguing. It appears that Battlefield enthusiasts will find a hint of nostalgia in Delta Force not only from the massive multiplayer fights but also these exciting additions.
