Detailed Look at This Year's Air Jordan 4 "Fear"

As a dedicated sneakerhead and long-time fan of Jordan Brand, I can’t contain my excitement as the Air Jordan 4 “Fear” makes its return this holiday season. This iconic colorway, with its distinctive black and gray tone, is a must-have for any serious collector.

As a long-time sneakerhead with a deep appreciation for the iconic Air Jordan line, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about the latest addition to the collection: the Air Jordan 4 “Fear” edition. This limited-edition design boasts an alluring colorway of black, white, cool grey, and pure platinum that is sure to turn heads on the streets. The SKU number FQ8138-002 may not mean much to some, but for me, it represents a coveted piece of footwear history.

New Information: Four months after making its debut, the “Fear” version of this year’s Air Jordan 4 is back in sight before its planned holiday launch. This shoe transitions from white at the sole, through gray on the overlays, to black at the top. It follows the same color scheme as its predecessor and is one of several anticipated AJ4 releases scheduled for later in the year. Anticipated release date is November 9, available on Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $215 USD. For additional details, refer to our initial analysis below.

This year looks set to be a significant one for Jordan Brand and the Air Jordan 4. We’ve already seen the release of the “Bred Reimagined” version, Usher wearing custom Air Jordan 4s during his Super Bowl LVIII halftime show, and two pairs from A Ma Maniére are upcoming. Additionally, the “Military Blue” colorway is making a comeback, and the first real knockoff of the Air Jordan 4, called Air Jordan 4 RM, has been unveiled.

The buzz surrounding the Air Jordan 4 has us pondering if it will be Jordan Brand’s most popular shoe in 2024, as a classic version from 2013, known as “Fear,” is set to make a comeback this holiday season. A sneak peek at the revived design shows that its nubuck construction features the classic black and gray color scheme once again.

When I write this, Jordan Brand has not yet revealed any information about the release date for the Air Jordan 4 “Fear” coming back. Have a look at the embedded post below for more perspectives on it. Keep in mind that it’s anticipated to be available starting November 9 through Nike SNKRS and selected stores, priced at $215 USD.
