The Dfinity Foundation, famous for Internet Computer technologies and blockchain, unveiled the Olympus Acceleration Platform. This platform serves as a centralized hub for Web3 accelerators, allowing them to showcase their programs worldwide. Such exposure significantly boosts both the accelerators and their projects.
At Olympus, we stand out with our innovative method called Open Stake. This strategy allows for flexibility in collaborations among projects, mentors, and investors, making it distinct from conventional, industry-limited accelerators that primarily focus on startups and specialists within a particular field.
Dominic Williams, founder of Dfinity, emphasized that the platform aims to offer equal opportunities for deserving projects, regardless of their origin. It functions on a trustless system that continually operates, using the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) to authentically record and verify each project’s growth metrics on the blockchain.
With the backing of Web3 Labs, this project receives financial assistance from venture capital firms like Fenbushi Capital and Softbank Vision Fund.
