Take a look

Only a short while ago, the creators of Dhadak 2 unveiled the initial character posters of the main actors. These intriguing posters for the movie have undeniably ignited great anticipation among fans.

1st version (original): Siddhant was observed, with rage and flame in his gaze, holding Triptii securely.

In one image, Siddhant stood guarding Triptii, his eyes burning with fury. In another poster, it appears that Triptii is hanging onto Siddhant for support.

Clearly implied, these posters suggest a heartfelt tale of romance facing strong adversities. The movie’s slogan, “One must choose to fight… rather than die,” is displayed on them as well, hinting that it will debut in theaters on August 1, 2025.

In a new twist, Shazia Iqbal takes the helm as director for “Dhadak 2,” having also penned the adapted story, script, and dialogue in collaboration with Rahul Badwelkar. The production team behind this upcoming film includes Karan Johar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, Somen Mishra, and Pragati Deshmukh.

Following several rounds of discussions, it was disclosed in a recent report by The Hindu that the movie has been granted a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), with 16 suggested edits. Notably, these changes involve a dialogue alluding to political commentary, various caste-related phrases, as well as religious references among others.
