30-year-old beach house owned by Grammy-winning songwriter Diane Warren, tragically destroyed by the fierce wildfires currently ravaging Los Angeles County.
On her Instagram account yesterday, the fifteen-time Oscar-nominated songwriter shared a picture of a stone from the beach near her house that brings back memories of her late friend, Leah. “This is the last photo I took of Leah’s rock from my beach house,” she wrote. “I’ve owned this property for almost thirty years. It seems to have disappeared in the fire last night.” She added, “A rainbow shines upon it now, which I interpret as a symbol of hope for all those impacted by this disaster.

She also mentioned that her pets are secure, saying, “The animals and the sanctuary are doing well, thankfully, which is what truly matters. Take care, everyone.
On Tuesday evening, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a state of emergency following evacuation orders in Santa Monica and Malibu. Authorities reported that two individuals had perished due to the fires, and cautioned that the danger was not yet over. Notable celebrities have been using social media to share personal experiences about the fire and its consequences, with Eugene Levy, Mark Hamill, James Woods, Spencer Pratt, and Heidi Montag among them.
Various happenings in Hollywood were likewise called off, such as film debuts and viewings, award ceremonies, and the Los Angeles Kings’ match at the Crypto.com Arena.
