In my latest chat with Farah Khan on her YouTube channel, we whipped up a scrumptious meal and reminisced about some juicy tales from our past. During our culinary journey, we had a moment to discuss the intriguing rumors surrounding an alleged spat between me and my co-star Karisma Kapoor during the production of Aatish: Feel The Fire in 1994. In addition to cooking up a delicious meal, Farah Khan and Raveena Tandon engaged in conversation about collaborating on projects back in the 90s. Eventually, their discussion turned into a confrontation, with Raveena challenging Farah over allegations she made about Raveena’s altercation with Karisma Kapoor.
While basking in the tranquility of the pool, I turned to Khan and asked, “You’ve been everywhere saying there were disputes on set. When exactly were we at odds?” The director responded affirmatively, “Indeed, it is the truth.
Regardless of what Khan claims, Raveena stands firm in her belief that nothing untoward occurred between her and Kapoor. To support her stance, she argued, “What did I do? I was simply socializing with a group of dancers who were my friends, and they were exchanging jokes about non-vegetarian food.
Back then, it’s worth noting that director Farah Khan spoke about a disagreement between Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor while working on their 1994 film “Aatish: Feel The Fire”. This revelation was made during her interview on Koffee With Karan with host Karan Johar in 2007, where she was asked about the most heated argument she had witnessed between actresses.
In this instance, Farah Khan, the director of Main Hoon Na, recounted a playful argument between Kapoor and Tandon that resembled adolescent squabbles. She described them playfully whacking each other with their wigs, which were adorned with plaits and beads. Farah continued by saying, “One was striking, the other was stomping her foot with her heel. It was rather juvenile. I’m confident they will find it amusing now,” as she shared this anecdote with Karan Johar.
