Recently, Shah Rukh Khan has become another high-profile figure affected by deepfakes, as photographs supposedly depicting him alongside his wife Gauri and son Aryan Khan in Mecca have been spreading online. These images, which surfaced around New Year’s Day, suggested that SRK and his family had made a trip to the sacred city on January 1st. However, keep scrolling to uncover the authenticity of these viral photos!
In these photos, you can see a threesome posed in front of Mecca’s magnificent mosque. Gauri is wearing a white burqa, while SRK dons traditional white clothing. These images swiftly became popular on social media platforms, with many outlets also sharing them. Unfortunately, it was later found out that these photos were not authentic; they were actually created using artificial intelligence technology.
On October 25, 1991, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri Khan, got married. In an episode of Koffee with Karan in 2005, Gauri discussed the importance of mutual respect and maintaining harmony in their home.
According to reports, Gauri made clear that although she holds great respect for Shah Rukh’s religion, she personally does not subscribe to the idea of changing one’s faith. She emphasized that everyone has the right to their unique beliefs and individuality, highlighting the importance of mutual understanding and respect. Moreover, she pointed out that Shah Rukh is equally mindful about not offending her religious beliefs.
Instead, Shah Rukh Khan had previously traveled to Mecca following the completion of the filming for Dunki in Saudi Arabia. After that, he was observed carrying out the holy Umrah ritual, dressed in all-white attire. To ensure safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, he also donned a protective mask.
In terms of his professional endeavors, Shah Rukh Khan will appear in the movie titled “King,” which is being helmed by Siddharth Anand. This upcoming film also features Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma. The production team plans to start filming in March 2025. “King” is anticipated to be a high-speed action-thriller.
