Commending his ‘genuine, modest, and approachable’ demeanor, the actor from Mr. India acknowledged that the cricketer had made a deep impact on him. Anil went on to reveal that he has long admired the sportsman from a distance since their initial encounter, expressing, “Your dedication, enthusiasm, and the awe-inspiring pride you’ve instilled in us with your remarkable feats on the field.
Anil Kapoor mentioned that even though they haven’t crossed paths since then, he continues to support Virat Kohli wholeheartedly. He extended his well wishes to Kohli for reaching where he is today, adding that although he stepped away from Test cricket, he will forever remain in the hearts of fans.
