Interestingly, during a recent interview, Kunal Kapoor, who portrayed Aslam in the film, shared an intriguing detail: Aamir Khan chose to let Siddharth take the lead in the climax, rather than playing the hero himself and performing it personally.

Kunal Kapoor, during his YouTube series Khaane Mein Kya Hai, shared a fascinating tidbit: the original plan was for everyone to visit the radio station and share some thoughts. However, it was Aamir Khan who suggested that just one of them should speak on the radio instead.

Initially, when Laal Singh Chadha proposed his idea, it was widely expected that he would be the one addressing the radio station. However, contrary to expectations, he picked Siddharth instead.

As a devoted admirer looking back, I can’t forget that moment when everyone seemed to believe it should be him leading the radio broadcast. But instead, he humbly posed the question, “Who among us is the wisest, or the most articulate?” He pointed out Siddharth as the one who fit that description, thus allowing him to step up and take charge. Speaking about his upcoming film “Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins,” Kunal acknowledged Aamir’s talent, commenting that many other actors might have seized the chance to appear in the climactic scene. However, instead of capitalizing on the opportunity himself, Ishq actor Kunal decided to prioritize the film’s success and do what was most beneficial for the project as a whole.

According to Kunal, Aamir believes that “If each character in the movie is effective, then the movie is successful, and if the movie is successful, it’s beneficial for me.” He expressed this thought.
