Siddhant Chaturvedi made his cinematic debut alongside Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, where he excelled as MC Sher, kick-starting his journey in the entertainment industry. However, this wasn’t his initial foray into films. In a conversation, the actor reminisced about a previous movie project before the 2019 musical drama film. In various films like Gehraiyaan and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Siddhant Chaturvedi earned recognition, but his fame truly skyrocketed with his part in the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-led film Gully Boy. However, during an interview with Mashable India, the actor reminisced about a challenging phase when his debut movie, which came before Zoya Akhtar’s production, failed to materialize. At approximately 21 years old at that time, he had secured a role following auditions for it.

Consequently, Sid dedicated six months to a workshop for his role and adopted the appearance of his character for the upcoming movie. However, the project was ultimately cancelled. The actor shared that he became so immersed in the character that he shaved his head, believing it would set his life on a new course as he was poised for a big break.

Speaking about his project, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi shared an unexpected realization he had when he landed the role – it seemed effortless with just a few auditions. However, as time passed and his hair grew back, he found himself in a reflective state for three months, admitting that he felt quite low. This emotional turmoil was intensified due to the cancellation of the movie, which happened when Chaturvedi had given up on his career as an accountant and his friends were engrossed in their own pursuits.
