Diljit Dosanjh’s concert tickets were resold for Rs 54 lakh and Rs 46 lakh reveals his manager; admits generating Rs 234 crore during North America’s Dil-Luminati tour

As a fervent admirer of Diljit Dosanjh, I am absolutely awestruck by his meteoric rise to global stardom! The sheer magnitude of his success leaves me utterly speechless – and slightly envious of those who managed to secure tickets for his upcoming tour in India.


Worldwide sensation Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh is continuing to captivate audiences as he travels the globe for his Dil-Luminati tour. With concerts already held in Vancouver, Dallas, Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles and other cities, India is next on the list. The anticipation is high as over 100,000 tickets were snapped up in just 15 minutes during pre-sales that started on September 10th.

In her latest conversation with Connect Cine, Sonali Singh disclosed that Diljit Dosanjh garnered approximately 2340 million Indian rupees from his performances during the Dil-Luminati Tour in the United States. Furthermore, Sonali discussed the issue of fans purchasing tickets at face value only to resell them at inflated prices.

She stated that some individuals were offering tickets at prices ranging from $64,000 (approximately Rs 54 lakh) and $55,000 (approximately Rs 46 lakh), and there were people interested in purchasing them. Moreover, the manager revealed that Diljit earned nearly $28 million (around Rs 234 crore) during his North America Dil-Luminati tour.

Sonali continued discussing the excitement among Diljit Dosanjh’s fans in Abu Dhabi as they eagerly anticipate his upcoming performance in the United Arab Emirates capital. In light of the enthusiastic reception, she revealed that approximately 30,000 tickets have been sold for his Dil-Luminati Tour in Abu Dhabi. According to the artist’s manager, this is “the most tickets any Indian performer has ever sold”.

Immediately following the start of ticket sales for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour-India, some disgruntled fans voiced their frustration over not being able to purchase tickets because they were quickly snapped up within a matter of minutes. The Delhi tickets in the Gold (Phase 3) category were priced at Rs 12,999 and above.

For those not already familiar, the Dil-Luminati Tour across India commences on October 26. The inaugural concert takes place at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from 7 pm to 10 pm. Subsequent performances are scheduled in Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
