Discover Every Exciting TV Show Coming to Disney+ This February 2025!

Regardless of your age group, Disney+ has content that caters to everyone, possibly more than any other streaming platform. As we move into the new year, it appears that this variety will continue to grow, with February introducing a diverse range of new series for viewing.

Regardless of whether you’re into comic books, captivated by Pixar, hooked on documentaries, or simply a fan of Selena Gomez, here’s a roundup of all the TV shows that will be premiering on Disney+ in February 2025.

‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ (Season 1)

Stream New Episodes Every Wednesday

Starting January 29 on Disney+, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will make his debut with a double premiere. Following this, new episodes from the first season will be released every Wednesday throughout most of February. Although it’s part of Phase Five in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this series unfolds in an alternate timeline and delves into Peter Parker’s beginnings as the web-slinger. An unexpected turn sees Norman Osborn (Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo) stepping into the role of his mentor instead of Tony Stark.

This animated series, produced by Marvel Studios Animation (responsible for “What If…?” and “X-Men ’97”), seems to surpass all their previous visual masterpieces. The show’s animation style pays tribute to the ’60s comics, featuring a 3D cel-shaded look that is simply breathtaking in action. A star-studded cast includes Hugh Dancy, Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil, and Paul F. Tompkins. Starting this Wednesday, you can catch new episodes of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” weekly until February 19th.

‘Harlem on Ice’

Stream on February 12

Samantha M. Knowles, creator of the Black and Missing miniseries, is preparing to reveal her highly anticipated next project. Entitled Harlem on Ice, this five-part documentary series delves into Figure Skating in Harlem, a nonprofit organization established in 1997 that uses figure skating as an educational program tailored for young girls of color. Over the years, the organization has expanded from just three employees to more than 75 and boasts over 1,500 alumni.

“Skating in Harlem”

The upcoming series, “Skating in Harlem,” will delve into the lives of several coaches and their young students as they prepare for local ice skating competitions. Along the way, viewers will witness the genuine ups and downs experienced by these girls as they strive to shatter the barriers and gain recognition on a global scale, often referred to as the “ice ceiling.”

“Skating in Harlem” is set to premiere on February 12.

‘Win or Lose’

Stream on February 19

Following the massive success of Dream Productions last year, Pixar is preparing to delve deeper into the television realm with the upcoming premiere of Win or Lose in February. First unveiled in 2020, this series centers around a mixed middle school softball team known as the Pickles, and each episode will offer a glimpse into a crucial week in the lives of each team member, culminating in their championship game. However, it’s not just the players’ stories that will be highlighted; other episodes will also delve into the personal lives of the parents and the umpire.

The concept is very intriguing, but the series faced a wave of controversy last year following the studio’s decision to scrap an episode delving into the life of a transgender team member. Although the character remains in the series, she has been rewritten as cisgender, and dialogues addressing gender identity have been removed. This change was met with dismay by her transgender voice actress, Chanel Stewart. You can catch Win or Lose on February 19th.

‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’

Stream New Episodes on February 28

In its prime, the influence of “Wizards of Waverly Place” was undeniably pervasive. Not only did it catapult Selena Gomez to stardom almost instantly, but it also ranks among Disney Channel’s most-watched sitcoms to this day. Given Gomez’s ongoing rise in fame and the series’ enduring popularity, it’s hardly shocking that last fall, more than a decade since its original run ended, we witnessed the premiere of the sequel/spin-off series titled “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place“.

The main character Justin Russo, who once reveled in a world of magic, is now devoted to a simple, everyday life as a family man. However, his peaceful existence is interrupted when his sister Alex Russo seeks assistance in teaching a budding witch, Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown). With hesitation, he re-enters the magical realm, assuming the role of mentor for the youngster. Amidst this, Justin strives to maintain harmony between his professional commitments and his newfound family responsibilities.

So far, “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” has been enjoying high viewership and positive feedback from both older and younger audiences. The show achieves this by blending nostalgia with the fresh. Although the first season is currently airing on Disney Channel, the last twelve episodes of the season will be available on Disney+ starting February 28th. In other words, you can now stream “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” on Disney Plus, and 12 new episodes will premiere on February 28.
