The Hollywood Reporter is offering an exclusive sneak peek at Spin Master’s collection of merchandise for Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, which will be unveiled today at the New York Toy Fair. Gabby’s cherished six-room dollhouse receives a modern update with smart accessories, aiming to make playtime even more enchanting. (Spin Master has reportedly sold over three million of these house play sets worldwide.)
The Hollywood Reporter gives us an exclusive previews of Spin Master’s Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie products, which will be shown for the first time today at New York Toy Fair. The classic six-room dollhouse gets a tech upgrade with interactive gadgets to make play more magical. (Spin Master reports that it has sold over three million of these play sets globally.)
The latest Gabby’s Fascinating Feline Mansion comes equipped with LCD screens and speakers that offer videos, music, tales, and interactive games. By pressing the kitty nose button, players can embark on a thrilling treasure hunt throughout the house or enjoy daily cat videos featuring Cakey, DJ Catnip, Catrat, Mercat, Kitty Fairy, Carlita, Baby Box, and new characters from the movie. The mansion includes a Gabby figurine, 10 accessories, a spiral slide, and a cat-controller, and it can be combined with existing room and balcony play sets.
In addition to the Gabby’s Dollhouse film toys, you’ll find the Pandy Paws plush toy and a light-up cat ear headband that are interactive. These items are equipped with “Meow-Tech” which reacts or sets off actions within the house when triggered. By pressing the paw of Gabby’s companion, you can activate games, sounds, and animations within the house. The interactive cat ears can initiate the “dance mode” in the house, playing music and adorable responses, or they can play the recently released “Gabby’s Dollhouse World” song from the movie.
The toys based on the “Gabby’s Dollhouse” movie will hit the shelves this autumn. This announcement follows the extension of their global licensing deal, which was previously held by Universal Products & Experiences and Spin Master, a Canadian company, for the beloved preschool program.

Laila Lockhart Kraner will once again take on the character of Gabby in the upcoming movie, titled “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie“. In this story, a young girl named Gabby embarks on an exciting road trip with her Grandma Gigi to the bustling city of Cat Francisco. However, a twist arises when Gabby’s cherished dollhouse is stolen by a quirky cat lady named Vera. To retrieve her beloved Gabby Cats and save her dollhouse before it’s too late, Gabby embarks on a thrilling real-world adventure.
Currently streaming on Netflix and entering its 11th season, “Gabby’s Dollhouse” is one of the top 10 most-watched TV shows in 57 countries. The DreamWorks Animation series, created by Tracie Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey, who have also worked on “Blue’s Clues,” follows a 12-year-old named Kraner. After opening various items, she gains the ability to shrink herself into an animated form using her magical cat ears, allowing her to embark on small adventures with her feline friends, known as the Gabby Cats. In 2023, “The Hollywood Reporter” collaborated with this DreamWorks Animation title for its first Kids Power event.
