Disney’s House of Mouse Global Tour Debuts New Mickey & Friends Collabs and Disneyland Anniversary Merch in L.A. (Exclusive)

After visiting London and Rio, Disney’s worldwide House of Mouse tour made its initial North American appearance in Los Angeles, showcasing fresh partnerships and unique merchandise offerings.

On June 5th, NYA Studios West was transformed by a one-evening event showcasing new merchandise from Disney Store in celebration of the 70th anniversaries of Disneyland and Lady & the Tramp, as well as Daisy Duck’s 85th birthday. The event also had a western theme inspired by Cowboy Carter, with numerous additional items available. This immersive experience introduced streetwear-style Mickey & Friends clothing, activewear, and accessories from Shoe Palace; vintage clothing lines from Gap, Aeropostale, and Hot Topic; jewelry collections from Pandora; eyewear options from Sunglass Hut; beauty tools and accessories from Touchland, Tweezerman, Kitsch, and UnBrush; cosmetics from Basin and House of Sillage; collectibles from Pop Mart; tech accessories from Popsockets; and various other offerings.

Starting from now, a variety of products are up for grabs, with more arriving exclusively online at the Disney Store and Shoe Palace on June 6 and beyond. At Disney’s official boutique, you’ll find graphic pullover sweatshirts showcasing Mickey and Minnie Mouse through their years-long journey; pastel fleece sweaters inspired by the Eras Tour, featuring Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy; and adorable Urupocha-chan plushes from Disney Store Japan. Meanwhile, Shoe Palace’s selection boasts unique items like a denim worker’s jacket, Mickey Mouse jerseys, Minnie Mouse tennis skirts, vintage-inspired shorts, jorts, and a bowling bag, to mention just a few.

On Thursday evening, the exclusive event included interactive exhibits and a performance by the widely recognized DJ Pee Wee, also known as Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak. This festivity has previously visited cities like London and Brazil and is now set to travel to Shanghai and Australia next.

The House of Mouse L.A. event follows Bobby Kim, former co-creator of Hundreds, being appointed as the vice president of creative for Disney Consumer Products in the Americas. Although Kim’s initial designs for Disney have not been revealed yet (he took on his new position in March), he shared that the global tour aims to offer a modern experience with Mickey and Friends through distinctive brand elements. The objective is to emphasize the emotional storytelling behind these iconic characters and what they symbolize for a generation that values authenticity above all else. They are the original friendship crew, and it’s enjoyable to keep discovering and celebrating a bond that has stood the test of time.
