Although Doctor Who hasn’t been confirmed for Season 3 yet, there’s anticipation that the upcoming regeneration might generate enough enthusiasm for BBC to extend the show. In February 2025, a representative for the series stated that the decision on season 3 will be made after season 2 has aired. With the deal with Disney Plus being for 26 episodes, only half of those have been broadcasted so far. Regarding any further information about the Doctor and future narratives, they choose not to comment.
