As a movie enthusiast with a penchant for horror and action flicks that have left an indelible mark on my heart, I must admit, the news about Dog Soldiers 2 not happening has left me disheartened. The original film is one of those rare gems that effortlessly combines humor, suspense, and gore in a unique blend that’s hard to find these days.
Lately, it’s been disappointing to learn that after much effort over the years, the anticipated action-horror sequel, Dog Soldiers 2, won’t materialize. However, don’t lose heart, fans of werewolves! The director has moved on from his work with classic movie monsters. Following the unfortunate news about Dog Soldiers, the filmmaker announced that he is now focusing on another action-horror project featuring werewolves: The Werewolves of London.
Due to a significant mistake I made last night, I thought it would be nice to offer fans a glimmer of hope amidst their struggles today… Although I don’t have the authority to create a Dog Soldiers sequel, there’s nothing preventing me from making another werewolf film. In fact, that is exactly what I aim to do. The project is still in its infancy, and I’m not revealing any plot details yet, but my goal is to bring back as many members of the original crew as possible for this endeavor. All we need now is the funding to make it happen!

However, things take an unexpected turn when they encounter werewolves instead of completing their mission. Stranded without means of transport or communication, they are compelled to seek refuge in a farmhouse, waiting for the moon to wane at dawn.
Originally, it was intended for the “Dog Soldiers” series to expand into a trilogy, with the second movie being called “Dog Soldiers: New Recruits.” However, despite attempts to make the sequel for many years, Marshall has recently shared that the talks haven’t proceeded as they had hoped.
Regrettably, these discussions abruptly ceased without warning. We were about to conclude and seal the contracts earlier this year, but then they vanished. They stopped responding to all forms of communication – emails, calls, everything. The reason for their disappearance remains a mystery. We’re left in the dark as to what happened or why, but the fact is that without this deal in place, we can’t move forward with a sequel. I apologize. We did our best and, in Chris Figg’s case, even spent substantial amounts on legal costs. Our intention was to deliver something for you, for all those who have been eagerly waiting. However, it seems that fate may not have had other plans. The first film was a unique phenomenon, and sometimes such phenomena should remain one-of-a-kind. So here we are…
