Dolly Parton is headed to Vegas.
Country music icon Dolly Parton is holding a temporary performance series at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, titled “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas“. This limited run will consist of six shows between December 4th and 13th, coinciding with the National Finals Rodeo.
Based on a recent announcement, “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas” is described as an “acclaimed concert series” that brings back the legendary Dolly Parton to Sin City for a significant return after 32 years. By seamlessly blending seven decades of cherished hits and fan favorites such as ‘9 to 5’, ‘Jolene’, ‘I Will Always Love You’, ‘Coat of Many Colors’ and more, this event offers an exceptional chance to witness one of the world’s most adored performers at the pinnacle of her achievements.
I’m not just excited; I’m thrilled beyond belief,” Parton expressed in a statement. “It’s been years since I’ve performed in Vegas, and I’ve always cherished singing there. I can hardly wait for the shows at The Colosseum at Caesars, and I hope you’re just as eager. See you there!
The tickets will be up for grabs starting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday. Exclusive VIP packages are also available, offering experiences like a private photo session with Parton, backstage tours during the show, access to Dolly’s Rhinestone Lounge, premium gift sets, and additional perks.
The legendary artist, recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, boasts an impressive collection of 27 RIAA-verified gold, platinum, and multiplatinum records. She holds the record for a female artist with 26 No.1 hits on the Billboard country charts. Her latest album, “Rockstar,” made history by marking her best sales week ever in her seven-decade career, earning six No.1 spots on various Billboard charts: top rock albums, top rock and alternative albums, top country albums, top album sales, top current album sales, and independent albums. The album further achieved the No.3 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, her highest position to date.
Dolly Parton was the inaugural country musician to receive the Grammy MusiCares Person of the Year accolade. To date, she has amassed 11 Grammy Awards and been nominated for an impressive 52 times, also receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 2023, she published her second best-selling coffee table book for The New York Times, titled “Behind The Seams: My Life in Rhinestones”. This was the second installment of a planned trilogy; her first book, “Songteller: My Life in Lyrics”, had also been a bestseller.
