Dolores Slams Kate for Spoiling ‘The Traitors’ Fun: Remote Control Drama Uncovered!

Have you ever pondered what The Traitors contestants do each night, when they retire or leave the castle? As it turns out, unlike typical viewers who can switch channels on their TVs with a remote, they don’t have that luxury. It seems that was once possible, but Kate Chastain (allegedly) put an end to that for everyone.

Last week as a passionate cinephile, I attended an engaging live event called Virtual Reali-Tea, where the topic of conversation veered towards communication. As reported by Page Six, my fellow reality TV icon Dolores Catania, known for her stint in Traitors Season 3 and The Real Housewives series, shared a story she’d heard about Kate that apparently led to a temporary loss of remote control privileges for everyone involved.

It seems that the cast member of Below Deck discovered a method to connect with her companions or the wider public through YouTube during their stay in Scotland. However, when the producers learned about it, they established fresh guidelines to prohibit such communication. Here’s an excerpt from her statement…

It seems that Kate Chastain was taught to communicate with her friends using a clicker, which then led to them being taken away from everyone. This means, if you want to watch videos on YouTube, you’ll have to use your remote. As a result, no one is allowed to have a remote now!

At present, we should clarify that neither Kate has openly admitted to this trickery, nor have the producers confirmed it. Therefore, for now, consider this as just a tale Dolores claims to have heard about Kate. However, let’s be straightforward; it seems quite characteristic of Kate to engage in such activities. Doesn’t her expression give off an air of a woman who might indulge in mischief if left alone in a Scottish hotel room? Yes, that’s exactly what she looks like.

In the first and second seasons of the American adaptation of “The Traitors,” Chastain graced our screens. Interestingly, she also popped up as a surprise guest this year in Season three, sharing the spotlight with seasoned player Parvati Shallow. To put it mildly, their appearance seemed to be an insubstantial pretext for increased screen time. Evidently, the producers have no issues with Chastain following the reported incident in this remote setting, and they’re managing to attract participants despite limited in-room entertainment options in Scotland.

In truth, the series The Traitors has subtly transitioned from being just another reality competition show into one that many reality television icons aspire to be a part of, second only to Survivor 50. It seems as though we’re constantly seeing new reality stars vying for a future spot on the show, and fan interest, which is steadily increasing with each season, has led some enthusiasts to speculate about future castings well ahead of time. Although there are still some adjustments needed in terms of rules and minor alterations, it’s clear that most of the top draws from shows like Survivor, Real Housewives, The Challenge, Big Brother, and numerous other Bravo and Netflix reality shows are eager to participate.

As a dedicated movie enthusiast, I can’t help but speculate about the future of our beloved character, Kate. Given the clever way producers have managed to incorporate her into each season so far, I’m confidently anticipating that she will be a part of the ensemble if they ever decide to create an All-Stars version. Here’s hoping they sort out the logistics of bringing her back before then!
