On Monday, Don Lemon and Kanye West engaged in a series of public posts on social media after an attempted interview by Lemon during the Grammy Awards red carpet.
The conflict originated from a previously removed post made by West (now known as Ye), alleging that Lemon, whom he referred to as a “jester”, had spread a rumor suggesting that Ye and his wife, Bianca Censori, were not allowed entry to the Grammy Awards on Sunday evening.
Upon their arrival, Ye and Censori caused quite a stir when Censori removed her black coat to disclose an entirely see-through gown without any undergarments underneath. It was later speculated online that the pair had been asked to leave due to lack of invitation, but these claims were eventually debunked.

The appearance of Ye and Censori made a splash when Censori slipped off her black coat to unveil a completely transparent dress devoid of underwear. There was online chatter that they had been asked to leave because they weren’t invited, but it turned out to be false information.
In response to West’s post, Lemon shared a video with the following message: “Hey Kanye, or should I say Yee, or whatever you go by these days – let me clarify that I didn’t initiate the rumor about you being removed from the Grammys. In fact, I corrected it because I saw one of your team members requesting me to do so due to widespread misinformation. To start with, sort out your affairs.
With a chuckle, he went on to say, “It’s you, of all individuals, accusing me of being such a thing? The ‘Make America Great Again’ cap seems to be squeezing your skull a bit too hard.
Before the grand unveiling of Censori, I, as a game-loving enthusiast, found myself eagerly trying to get close enough to both Ye and Censori for a quick chat. My curiosity led me to ask the singer, “Who’s the top artist you’d love to collaborate with at this moment?

The rapper replied by saying âgive me a second Iâm focused,â and then walked away.
At the Grammys, photographers were told to address West as Ye and were asked to step back six inches before his arrival for security reasons. West was nominated with Ty Dolla Sign for best rap song for “Carnival”, and they collaborate as the hip-hop duo known as $$. Unfortunately, they didn’t win the award, which went to Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us” instead.
The Hollywood Reporter reached out to Lemon and West for further comment.
