‘The Traitors’ (Season 3 Finale and Reunion)
Stream on March 6
As a passionate movie reviewer, let me share my thoughts on “The Traitors”, a gripping reality competition series set in the enchanting Scottish Highlands. This show, hosted by the captivating Alan Cumming, presents a unique twist as it pits reality stars against each other in a battle for survival and a grand prize of up to a quarter-million dollars.
The contestants are divided into two groups: the Faithful and the Traitors. The cunning Traitors aim to eliminate the Faithful under the cloak of darkness, while the Faithful work tirelessly to unmask each Traitor and expel them from the game for good. This ancient castle becomes a battleground where trust is scarce and alliances shift rapidly. If you’re looking for a show that keeps you on the edge of your seat, “The Traitors” is definitely worth checking out!
In the final episode of The Traitors Season 3, airing March 6, we’ll discover which contestants have made it to the end. If all Faithful are present at this stage, they’ll collectively claim the prize money. However, if any or more Traitors reach the finale, they will seize the funds for themselves, leaving the Faithful empty-handed. The eventual reunion promises to unveil hidden strategies, secrets, and the dramatic events that characterized this season.
‘Long Bright River’ (Season 1)
Stream on March 13
Titled after Liz Moore’s novel of the same name, “Long Bright River” is a confined thriller series starring Amanda Seyfried as Mickey, a Philadelphia police officer. The neighborhood she patrols has been ravaged by the opioid epidemic, leaving it unrecognizable from her childhood memories. As a string of murders targets local girls, Mickey suspects that her own past may be linked to the case. With her troubled sister also missing, Mickey embarks on an intense quest to find her sibling. The series consists of eight episodes, all becoming available at once upon its debut on March 13.
‘Yellowstone’ (Season 5 Part 2)
Stream on March 16
The upcoming episodes of Taylor Sheridan’s hit series, Yellowstone, are soon to stream on Peacock. This powerhouse TV show is entering its final season’s second part, where we follow the Dutton family as they fight to protect their land. They’ll face off against developers and leaders from a nearby Native American reservation, all while making desperate attempts to safeguard their ranch and the way of life they’ve always known.
The last episodes of Yellowstone are set to stream on March 16th, exclusively on Peacock. As the family grapples with secrets, health issues, and political ambitions, their future hangs in the balance.
‘Happy’s Place’ (Season 1 Finale)
Stream on March 22
NBC’s latest comedy series, titled “Happy’s Place“, introduces us to Bobbie (Reba McEntire), a woman who inherits a small bar named Happy’s Place upon her father’s death, affectionately called ‘Happy’. However, an unexpected visitor, her previously unknown half-sister Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), appears on the scene. This revelation leaves Bobbie shocked as she discovers that she only owns half of the bar, with Isabella owning the other half. In spite of their unusual introduction, they decide to jointly manage the bar as their father would have wanted. Through a series of challenges and humorous situations, they work together to keep the bar afloat and bring joy to viewers. The season finale of this popular show is scheduled for mid-March on Peacock.
‘The Irrational’ (Season 2 Finale)
Stream on March 26
As a cinephile, I’d say NBC’s gripping crime drama, “The Irrational,” puts me right in the shoes of Professor Alec Mercer (played by Jesse L. Martin), a behavioral psychology whiz. He leverages his expertise to aid the police and FBI in tackling complex criminal cases with high stakes. His unique perspective on human irrationality reveals how biases and emotional drives can distort people’s decision-making processes, frequently clashing with rational thought.
The TV series is inspired by the research and insights of Dan Ariely, a behavioral economist and professor, who uses his knowledge to solve intricate issues faced by governments and corporations, such as policy-making, health choices, and fraud prevention. In its second year now, the Season 2 finale of the show is set to air on Peacock towards the end of March.
