Capcom has recently revealed an updated version for the upcoming title, “Dragon’s Dogma 2“. This fresh update aims to rectify ongoing problems within the beloved action RPG, thereby enhancing the gameplay for those who continue to enjoy it.

In 2012, the initial Dragon’s Dogma was launched, leading to a remastered version, a Japan-only MMORPG, and an animated series. Five years later, in 2024, fans were thrilled to see the long-anticipated sequel of this game. Although the first Dragon’s Dogma was considered a cult favorite, Dragon’s Dogma 2 garnered widespread acclaim and sold over 3.5 million copies, surpassing its predecessor in success. Since then, Capcom has regularly updated the game, but updates have become less frequent recently.

In simpler terms, the recent update for “Dragon’s Dogma 2” is primarily focused on resolving two small matters. Firstly, it tackles an issue where players with a vast inventory found it difficult to choose items correctly on the menu screen due to having too many items. Secondly, it specifically addresses a problem experienced by Xbox Series X/S users playing the RPG offline, preventing them from earning achievements when they switched to online play.

Just now, we have the first update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 that has been rolled out in the past three months. In fact, back in January, Capcom revealed the previous update for Dragon’s Dogma 2, which also tackled several glitches. The latest patch addressed issues such as enemies not showing up at the start of the game or other players’ Pawns failing to appear in riftstones when the Arisen exceeded Level 998.
