As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the latest gameplay trailer for Duet Night Abyss has me thoroughly intrigued. I’ve been following this title since its initial pre-registrations back in 2023, and the progress they’ve made is nothing short of impressive.

There’s been a lot of excitement building up for Duet Night Abyss, the fantasy adventure RPG created by Hero Entertainment and Pan Studio. Although pre-registrations opened in October 2023 and a technical test was held in March, updates about the game have been scarce. However, at last, we get to see some gameplay footage courtesy of the 2024 Tokyo Game Show.

At this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Duet Night Abyss unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer and additional content. Their RPG had its dedicated space where they provided an exclusive fan program. The event continues through September 29th for those in Tokyo who wish to attend.

In the trailer showcased, you’ll notice all the advancements made during development. It introduces fresh combat strategies and presents new characters alongside the familiar ones from the prior technical test. One noteworthy new character is Fina, a potent author of fairy tales.

In this scenario, Fina is observed engaging in a formidable boss fight that showcases her impressive fighting technique. Her approach to defeating opponents is inventive, and she possesses the ability to conjure imaginary creatures to assist her in battle. These creatures, each unique with their own special abilities, not only aid Fina but also empower her teammates by enabling them to inflict additional elemental damage when they’re nearby.
