Spoilers ahead for The Traitors Season 3.
One of the top-notch reality shows on television, The Traitors, is undoubtedly a fan favorite and a highly competitive series. Viewers with a Peacock subscription have recently enjoyed the third season of the American adaptation, boasting an illustrious cast from the world of reality TV. The latest season of The Traitors brought back Dylan Efron, who has shared his thoughts on his gameplay strategy and transitioning beyond being known merely as “Zac’s brother.”>
Before “The Traitors,” Dylan Efron was mostly recognized for sharing screen time with his actor brother in “Down to Earth with Zac Efron” (available on Netflix). However, it was Bob the Drag Queen who gave Zac Efron a bit of a hard time at Round Tale. In a segment from Radio Andy, Dylan shared that he’s been warmly received due to his role in the show. In his own words: “Before ‘The Traitors,’ I wasn’t as widely known, but thanks to this show, I’ve been welcomed with open arms.
Absolutely, it’s been fantastic because it feels like I’m genuinely expressing myself on this platform. And having the audience accept and appreciate me makes it feel like an incredibly generous gift.
In essence, it’s accurate to say that The Traitors indeed offers strategic gameplay and an eccentric accent by Alan Cumming, but at its core, it’s a reality show with participants not portraying characters. Dylan has undeniably become a heartthrob, and he’s been showered with flowers for his voting history and eventual triumph on the show.
In that very interview, I, Dylan Efron, shared my feelings about the moment people started accepting me beyond just being associated with my renowned actor brother. To quote myself, here’s how I expressed it: “People began to see me as an individual in my own right.
Just as we’ve frequently discussed, I have always been Dylan who happens to be Zac’s brother. Wearing this fact with pride has always been the case for me. Yet, it’s still amusing. Even when the initial episodes were released, it was all about ‘Zac’s brother.’ But by Episode 5, they began to realize, ‘Oh, he’s Dylan!’ And that’s when I found out, ‘Oh, that’s my name. Neat!’
As a movie enthusiast, I must say that Dylan Efron has undeniably emerged as one of the standout stars from Season 3, sharing the limelight with none other than Gabby Windey, a familiar face from ‘The Bachelor’. In an unexpected twist, they both clinched the season’s victory, though they’ll be dividing the prize money amongst four. Regardless, it’s clear that the captivating charm of Dylan Efron and Gabby Windey won’t go unnoticed, and I predict they’ll soon be gracing our screens with new and exciting projects.
I’m thrilled to share that I can’t resist diving back into the intrigue! The entire third season of “The Traitors” is now available for streaming on Peacock, making it part of the 2025 TV lineup. For those, like me, who crave more suspenseful twists and turns, a fresh season of the UK version has just been released!
