Ayaan Agnihotri, son of Atul Agnihotri and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, shared in an interview with News 18 about his family gatherings at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments during Eid. He described it as a large family lunch setting, but with a twist – it can get quite noisy. He mentioned that there are plenty of jokes being exchanged and occasional shouts, followed by some elders giving instructions to the younger ones.
At 3 PM sharp, the whole family gathers around for lunchtime. Salim Khan, their grandfather, takes the lead by sitting at the table first. He mentioned that once he begins to eat, they, the children, follow suit. In the event that Salim Khan is absent, Sohail Khan assumes his place and exhibits a playful demeanor similar to the children in the family. Ayaan, who recently made his entry into the music world with Party Fever, added that due to the large number of family members, they take turns to eat around the table. If Salim Khan decides to dine late, Sohail steps up and commences eating first, followed by Nirvaan, Arhaan, and Ayaan. Ayaan expressed his admiration for Sohail, stating that he’s the best!
Additionally, he affectionately referred to Sohail as the coolest uncle, always ready for spontaneous outings and family vacations with the children. During their childhood years, the actor fondly known as Hello, included Sohail in his adventures with Nirvaan, Arhaan, and their friends, frequently declaring, “Let’s head to Goa or Alibaug!” These trips often consisted of just him and the lively group of seven kids.
Ayaan mentioned that sometimes his uncle Arbaaz Khan can be quite intimidating. He explained that the actor-producer often keeps everyone on edge due to his unpredictable mood swings. One moment, he’s full of laughter and joy, and the next, he turns serious. However, these sudden changes make him fun again. Furthermore, Ayaan shared that their family vacations at Panvel during weekends are his most cherished family getaways.
Moving forward, he referred to Arhaan as his favorite cousin and mentioned that they often burst into laughter even during disagreements, alongside the actress Alizeh Agnihotri. Additionally, he takes care of his younger cousins by spoiling them, and also drives Ahil to school every morning.
