Although Elizabeth Olsen suggested she wouldn’t be featured in the upcoming Avengers films, I have my doubts given Marvel’s notorious secrecy. Actors are often bound by contracts for extended periods to safeguard Marvel’s secrets, as demonstrated by Andrew Garfield who repeatedly denied his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home before its release.
Because Kevin Feige hasn’t disclosed all the cast members for “Doomsday,” I’m still holding out hope that Elizabeth Olsen will reprise her role as Scarlet Witch in the upcoming blockbuster. Given the character’s immense popularity, it seems unlikely that the studio would overlook her. Moreover, since the story involves the multiverse and she’s already navigated it, she appears to be a sensible narrative pick.
Beyond the amusing blunders shown in the video, Olsen’s portrayal of Wanda Maximoff has been exceptional. Despite spending years as a secondary character, she managed to make her role appear genuine and heartfelt. When it came time for her to shine in WandaVision, she effortlessly adapted to the distinct styles of each television decade, followed by delivering a powerfully moving performance in the series finale.
In the movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, Wanda was warmly received when she made an appearance. However, some viewers found her violent actions as The Scarlet Witch difficult to accept. Yet, her remorse and self-sacrifice to permanently destroy the Darkhold have increased the desire for her character’s return among fans. They yearn for a genuine redemption storyline for this beloved figure, but whether it happens remains to be seen.
