As a gamer with a deep appreciation for music and documentaries, I am beyond thrilled to hear about the European premiere of “Elton John: Never Too Late” at the 68th BFI London Film Festival. The acclaimed British vocalist Elton John’s documentary, titled “Elton John: Never Too Late,” will have its European debut at the 68th BFI London Film Festival. This screening will take place on October 10th at London’s Royal Festival Hall, with the singer himself, along with directors R.J. Cutler and David Furnish (who is also Elton John’s partner), expected to be present.
Working together with American Express, this documentary chronicles Elton John’s journey as he reflects on his life and the first five decades of his illustrious career. As he gears up for his last North American concert at Dodger Stadium, Elton invites us to reminisce with him about the incredible peaks and painful valleys of his early years. The plot summary goes on to explain that he shares how he managed to triumph over adversity, abuse, and addiction, ultimately transforming into the legendary figure we know today.

The Disney Branded Television original documentary was jointly produced by Rocket Entertainment and This Machine Filmworks, a Sony Pictures Television subsidiary. Alongside Trevor Smith, Cutler and Furnish also took on producer roles. Elise Pearlstein, Mark Blatty, Luke Lloyd Davies, Rachael Paley, Jane Cha Cutler, and John Battsek serve as executive producers for the project.
