Emraan Hashmi REACTS to Jannat co-actor Jawed Sheikh’s claims that he was rude on sets; calls it ‘bizarre’

A few days past, Pakistani actor Jawed Sheikh, who collaborated with Indian actor Emraan Hashmi in the film “Jannat,” recently made some surprising statements. He alleged that Hashmi gave off “golden” vibes and snubbed him during their initial greeting. Now, Hashmi has addressed these claims, terming them as ‘strange’. Keep reading for more details!

On Aaj Entertainment’s YouTube channel, a video was posted featuring Jawed Sheikh, who recounted an incident from 2008 when he and Emraan Hashmi met in South Africa to shoot the film Jannat. According to Jawed Sheikh, Emraan Hashmi was unfriendly towards him at their first encounter. He explained that instead of shaking his hand as a friendly greeting, Emraan Hashmi ignored him by turning his face away.

During a recent interview with SCREEN, Hashmi found the situation peculiar and referred to it as ‘strange’. When discussing Sheikh’s allegations, the actor from Aashiq Banaya Aapne clarified that at the time of filming Jannat, he was in his twenties. Since Javed wasn’t around the same age, they weren’t friends and didn’t socialize together. “However, I can’t recall anything similar to what he’s describing taking place,” said Emraan.

In simpler terms, the actor said that he doesn’t know what the Pakistani actor took from their meeting all those years ago, but he’s kept whatever it was for approximately 16-17 years. He then added that the whole situation seems like a massive series of misunderstandings that has escalated into something he’s not involved with, concluding by saying that in his opinion, it’s just a big mix-up.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t contain my excitement! On the professional side, Emraan Hashmi will grace our screens next in Ground Zero.
