Every new year, McDonald’s Japan participates in the Japanese custom of giving “lucky bags,” which symbolize good fortune and a prosperous upcoming year. This year, BEAMS is joining the celebration by collaborating with McDonald’s on an assortment of fun lucky bag toys.
At the front, you’ll find an upward-sliding Big Mac Lamp with a top handle, showcasing its internal light once opened. Accompanying it is a Potato Pick-up Toy, designed to make eating fries hassle-free by mimicking a hand that picks up your fries when the button is pressed.
A third item, resembling a zip-up pouch, arrives in three distinct versions, all featuring pixelated images of burgers, fries, and Grimaces. The McDonald’s logo is prominently displayed in the center, accompanied by the BEAMS Design logo below. Lastly, you get three microfiber cleaning cloths, each with a similar design that showcases pixelated images of burgers and fries.
This version aims to maintain the original’s clarity while using simpler language and more natural phrasing.
Take a look at the complete collection of toys built by BEAMS, showcased here. These lucky bags can only be purchased by individuals who have previously won the lottery.
