As a long-time fan of Erin Krakow and her enchanting performances, I eagerly await her return to our screens this Saturday for the heartwarming Hallmark film, “Santa Tell Me.” While it’s been six years since we last saw Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) on When Calls the Heart, I can hardly contain my excitement at their reunion.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but share that while Erin Krakow continues to captivate us on “When Calls the Heart,” she still manages to steal our hearts in occasional Hallmark projects! Her latest venture on the network is particularly exciting as it brings her back together with her former “WCTH” co-star, Daniel Lissing, in the upcoming film, “Santa Tell Me.” As we eagerly await its release, Erin is preparing herself with a witty play on words. Rest assured, this project promises to be just as enchanting as the storyline suggests!
Krakow and Lissing once played husband and wife on the long-running Hallmark romance drama until the actor’s Jack Thornton was killed off. The two are now back together again for Santa Tell Me, and it’s premiering this Saturday. Krakow promoted the film on her Instagram with some fun photos of her and her co-star too, using what might be the worst yet best pun ever:

Beyond the amusing play on words, it appears that the film “Santa Tell Me” promises to be excellent, not merely due to the reunion of the actors portraying Elizabeth and Jack. In this movie, Krakow takes on the role of Olivia, a successful interior designer who discovers an old letter from Santa predicting she’ll meet her soulmate named Nick by Christmas Eve. As the story unfolds, Olivia encounters three men with that name, and while juggling these relationships, she becomes intrigued by her appealing colleague Chris.
From the looks of the teaser, it will be just the film to put anyone in the holiday spirit:
Currently, it appears that Lissing isn’t portraying one of the characters named Nick. Instead, he’s playing Olivia’s long-term colleague, Chris. Although there’s always a chance that Olivia might choose one of the Nicks, it seems more likely that Chris could be the ultimate choice, despite Saint Nick himself stating otherwise.
Six long years have passed since Lissing parted ways with “When Calls the Heart.” Whatever happens in this upcoming movie, it’ll be a delight to see him reunited with Krakow once more.
It’s delightful to witness Krakow in a Hallmark production that veers away from “When Calls the Heart.” Despite its enduring appeal and ongoing run, which is truly splendid, seeing her in diverse roles is enjoyable, particularly when it brings her together with beloved Hallmark actors. However, due to her commitments on the show, she doesn’t get to take on other projects frequently, but the wait is always rewarding.
Even though it’s still quite early, the Christmas offerings from Hallmark are starting to gain momentum, with “Santa Tell Me” being a must-see movie for fans. The fact that Krakow and Lissing are reuniting in this film makes it even more enticing. This highly anticipated production premieres on Saturday, November 9, exclusively on the Hallmark Channel. It’s just one of many Christmas movies scheduled to air in 2024.
