éS Muska Arrives in "Black/Royal" Colorway

As a seasoned gamer who’s been around since the late ’90s, I can vividly remember the euphoria that surrounded the release of the éS Muska sneaker back then. The chunky silhouette was more than just footwear; it was a symbol of rebellion and skate culture. Fast forward to 25 years later, and here we are, with the éS Muska “Black/Royal” colorway that’s reminiscent of Chad Muska’s iconic graffiti-tinged wall pose in Venice, California.

In the late ’90s, professional skater Chad Muska introduced his first signature shoe from éS: a highly popular model called the éS Muska, characterized by its thick sole. This shoe, which was also the first skating footwear to retail at $100 USD, gained immense love during that decade for its distinctive shape. Recently, after releasing a vegan version of this sneaker in a “Tan/Green” colorway earlier this year, éS Skateboarding has given it an update with a “Black/Royal” design.

25 years back, the distinctive color scheme was initially spotted in a picture of Muska perched on a graffiti-adorned wall in Venice, California. Yet, this unique blend of colors had never been accessible to global enthusiasts – until this very moment.

This model incorporates key features from our premium design, including a covert compartment for confidential items, a molded polyurethane framework, a synthetic nubuck exterior, prioritizing comfort with a specially designed tongue, and a contoured EVA footbed. The “éS Muska” emblem is displayed on the tongue, while the skate brand’s insignia can be found on both the lace fasteners and pull tabs.

The “Black/Royal” version of the éS Muska is now up for sale at skate stores worldwide and on éS Skateboarding’s online store for $149.99 USD. In the near future, signed editions of this shoe will be released on their official website. Check out the design details in the gallery above.
