‘A Knight’s Tale’
Stream on March 1
Stepping into the realm of medieval humor and high-octane action, let me share my thoughts on a captivating cinematic journey titled “A Knight’s Tale“. This movie takes us to 14th-century England where we follow the footsteps of an unassuming peasant squire named William Thatcher (Heath Ledger), who, in a bold move, impersonates a knight to participate in thrilling lancing tournaments. As he ascends the ranks and triumphs, he forges a tight-knit group of loyal companions, among them the historical figure, Geoffrey Chaucer (Paul Bettany).
As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I can’t help but express my excitement about the upcoming release of “A Knight’s Tale,” streaming on March 1st. The film, featuring James Purefoy as Edward the Black Prince, presents an intriguing challenge to our protagonist, William, a knight whose days might be numbered due to Edward’s relentless efforts to thwart him.
The movie takes an unconventional approach, blending elements of the past with modern pop culture references that will leave you in stitches. The soundtrack, filled with tracks from the 1970s, adds a unique twist to the medieval setting.
Interestingly, the story is partially inspired by one of Chaucer’s tales from “The Canterbury Tales,” giving it a fresh, contemporary feel that promises an entertaining watch for viewers. So, mark your calendars and get ready to embark on this fun journey with “A Knight’s Tale” on March 1st!
‘Jurassic World: Dominion’
Stream on March 2
Dominion” is a follow-up to the 2018 film “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom“. The previous film ended with the world’s surviving dinosaurs being threatened by an impending volcanic eruption. Four years later, in “Dominion“, characters Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) embark on a quest to locate their adopted daughter, Maisie (Isabella Sermon), who is also involved in these events.
Since the rescue of her after Isla Nubla’s devastation, they have managed to stay hidden from potential dangers by living incognito. Eventually, they cross paths with Lewis Dodgson, head of Biosyn Genomics, and team up with Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm to unmask the corporation’s extensive conspiracy. Jurassic World: Dominion hits streaming platforms on March 2.

At first, it seems like just another job, but when Hitpig finally meets Pickles, an unexpected event occurs, leading them on an unplanned adventure. However, the evil owner of Pickles won’t let them go that easily and sets out to reclaim her. In response, Hitpig decides to break free from his original mission and take matters into his own hands. “Hitpig!” will start streaming on March 7th.

However, as events unfold, Ben begins to suspect that she might have been murdered instead.

‘Wicked’
Stream on March 21
Under the direction of Jon M. Chu, the musical phenomenon known as Wicked is an adaptation from the initial act of the 2003 stage musical with the same title. This musical was loosely inspired by Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel and offered a fresh take on his Oz books and the timeless classic, The Wizard of Oz from 1939. The film focuses on Elphaba (portrayed by Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande), as they navigate their college years at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. Elphaba, due to her green complexion, is frequently misunderstood, while Glinda enjoys popularity among students. Despite this, they form an unlikely friendship. However, their bond is tested when they cross paths with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. In addition to these two stars, Wicked features performances by Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, and Jonathan Bailey. You can stream Wicked starting March 21.
