Dream Productions (Limited Series)

Stream on December 11

In a spin-off from the realm of Pixar’s “Inside Out,” the animated series titled “Dream Productions” unfolds within the imaginative studio nestled inside Riley Kensington Tallman’s mind, where her most fanciful dreams magically materialize. The distinctive series is set after the initial film but before we encounter Riley’s fresh emotions in “Inside Out 2.” The narrative chiefly focuses on Paula Persimmon (portrayed by Paula Pell), a renowned daydream director, who finds herself in an unwilling partnership with Xeni, a self-assured daydream director, as they work together to craft the next captivating teenage dream.

Since Riley’s previous dream sequences with Rainbow Unicorn and excessive glitter aren’t working anymore, Paula feels compelled to introduce Xeni into the mix as a way to salvage her career. However, these two have contrasting ideas about what Riley’s fresh dreams should look like, which makes creating the next blockbuster a challenging task. Dream Productions will air on Dec. 11.

What If…? (Season 3)

Stream on December 22

In simpler terms, “What If…?” is an animated series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that delves into alternative timelines. The character known as The Watcher (played by Jeffrey Wright) narrates and muses on how events might have unfolded had circumstances for various characters been different. For instance, one season explores what would happen if Hela found the Ten Rings, or if Ultron emerged victorious. These scenarios differ from the main timeline that viewers are accustomed to in the MCU.

For the third season of this show, you can expect episodes that focus on Red Guardian, a musical number featuring Agatha Harkness, and a Western-style adventure with Shang-Chi. Unlike other shows, starting from December 22, new episodes will be released every day until the final episode on December 29.
