English Teacher (Season 1)

Titled “English Teacher“, this comedy-drama is penned and played by Brian Jordan Alvarez, who portrays Evan Marquez, a high school teacher. When Principal Moretti discloses to Evan that he’s under investigation with his former colleague Malcolm (Jordan Firstman), as they were caught kissing in front of students, Evan finds himself squirming in the spotlight. Consequently, he’s prohibited from engaging in any more personal interactions with faculty members. Yet, when an attractive new teacher expresses interest in him, Evan ponders if he can authentically live and work in this environment. English Teacher premieres on Sept. 3.
Tell Me Lies (Season 2)

Following the 2018 novel “Tell Me Lies” by Carola Lovering, this drama series delves into the stormy and harmful relationship between characters Lucy Albright (played by Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White), both attending a fictitious Upstate New York college, Baird College. The story unfolds in 2007, with the first season exploring the early stages of their romance. As we move into the second season, Lucy is now a sophomore and Stephen a senior, and the underlying tension between them has never been more intense.
Following a humiliating end to the previous season, it’s likely that Lucy’s affection for Stephen has cooled significantly. Yet, considering Stephen’s history of manipulation, predicting how their college lives intersect might be challenging. As the new season progresses, viewers eagerly await answers to lingering questions from Season 1, such as what happened between Stephen and Lucy’s high school best friend Lydia (Natalee Linez) in the years following Lucy’s college years. How to Die Alone (Season 1)

After being hospitalized, Melissa, accompanied by her best friend Rory (Conrad Ricamora), and various individuals she’s met throughout her life, discovers that love has always been abundant around her. Now, on a path of self-discovery and acceptance, Melissa resolves to seize every opportunity and avoid settling for anything less than the fulfilling life she desires. The series will be available for streaming on Sept. 13.
In Vogue: The 90s (Docuseries)
