Anatomy of Lies (Season 1)

Stream on Oct. 15

The Truth Behind Deceptions is a Peacock original documentary series that delves into the extraordinary tale of Elisabeth Finch, a former writer for Grey’s Anatomy. This series intends to uncover how Finch allegedly invented every aspect of her life and successfully deceived those around her. By exploiting people’s empathy and utilizing the tragedies of others for her own gain, the discredited former television writer was able to make significant strides in her career. She published essays detailing her personal health battles and asserted that they were incorporated into multiple episodes she penned for Grey’s Anatomy.

Through fabricating numerous medical conditions such as bone cancer, losing a kidney, and undergoing a knee replacement due to misdiagnosis, she successfully obtained work accommodations like extended deadlines and time off. This extraordinary tale about the rise and fall of a once revered author, “Anatomy of Lies“, undeniably stirs doubt in those around us. “Anatomy of Lies” will be available for streaming on October 15.
