As a seasoned player of Shop Titans, I can confidently say that this latest update has brought a breath of fresh air to my gameplay experience. The addition of Roland, the veteran worker with his military expertise, is not just a boost to my shop but also an exciting new challenge in crafting Dual Wield Blueprints.
It’s never easy running a business – even more so when you’re selling to heroes destined to save the world. Kabam’s RPG-slash-sim is leveling up your shopkeeping skills with its latest update, adding a brand new Premium Worker named Roland that brings a quiver full of new content for you to enjoy!
Apart from addressing bugs and enhancing user experience, the recent update has plenty of exciting features waiting for you! Here’s a rundown of what you should know to dive right in.
The Veteran knows best
Roland is a retired military veteran who knows that often two weapons are better than one. Adding Roland to your staff enables you to craft Dual Wield Blueprints.
Dual Wield Blueprints function similarly to regular blueprints, featuring their own Ascension Milestones and Advanced Research. What sets them apart is that every Dual Wield Blueprint is a specific pairing of two weapon categories: axe, sword, dagger, or mace.
Not only are Dual Wields special, but they don’t belong to any specific weapon class. This means that no single Hero class has the ability to directly equip Dual Wield items. However, all heroes have the potential to wield some types of Dual Wields. If a hero can normally handle one of the weapons that make up a Dual Wield set, they can also wield the combined pair, such as a Cleric being able to use the Crystal Destroyers, which is a dual-wielded axe and mace combo, even though they typically don’t use Axes.
Arrows, bolts, and bullets
Roland also knows that winning a battle can come down to who has the best tools for the job and that is doubly true for Ranged Heroes! That is why Roland also brings another new Blueprint to your crafting arsenal: Quivers!
As a passionate adventurer, I can’t help but be excited about Quiver Blueprints! These blueprints are versatile, offering boosts to any hero who uses them, regardless if they prefer guns, bows, or crossbows. Equipped with these blueprints, heroes will find themselves packing a powerful punch from a distance, making each shot count!
Quivers share a strong bond with Bows, as the Bows receive a 30% boost when they are paired with a quiver. There’s no other pairing quite as legendary as this one.
You can use guns, crossbows, or bows effectively even if you don’t have a quiver on hand; it’s all a matter of personal preference.
Teaching old dogs new tricks
With Roland’s Premium Worker ability, you can also replace a Hero’s skill with whatever strikes your fancy. You can only do this once per Hero, and it must be a skill that your Hero can normally learn. Enabling a whole new way for you to optimize your roster of Heroes!

Halloween Haunt
On top of a new Premium Worker, players can look forward to the return of zombie shoppers to celebrate Halloween! These zombies are stale, and looking for a sale! As part of our yearly tradition, zombies will once again take over the streets. On October 31, visiting shoppers will have a little more shuffle in their step. Not to worry though, their Gold is still good!
Tweaks, upgrades, and code redemptions
All these come with improvements to the overall gameplay, including an improved Guild Finder to help you match the best group of like-minded individuals out there to your style. Other tweaks include more available bounties, a restored Guild’s Choice option, and welcome balance changes.
Changes to the meta will make “Sell X Gold Worth of items” missions more challenging, but “Surcharge X gold worth of items” missions will become easier as a result. Additionally, cooldown times for bounties have been reduced by half. Lastly, iOS users can now redeem Promo Codes from the official website using Kabam Cross Connect after signing in.
