Fortnite Clix Icon Cup Schedule and Format
As a die-hard Fortnite enthusiast, mark your calendars for March 21st! Keep an eye on the in-game tournament tab to find out what time the action kicks off in your region, so you won’t miss your chance to join the fun.
From my perspective, the Clix Icon Cup takes place in a three-player team format, all battling it out in the thrilling arena of Battle Royale. Regrettably, for those who prefer the Zero Build mode, this specific event doesn’t include that option; it’s strictly Battle Royale.
How To Participate
To participate in the Fortnite Clix Icon Cup, pick the event from the Fortnite competitive section once the competition begins, then jump into the queue.
It’s important to mention that for participation, two-factor authentication should be activated on your account. Also, it needs to be in good standing with Epic, which means there should be no hidden violations. Lastly, you will require a level 50 account to take part.
Scoring System
As a gamer, I’m all set for the upcoming Fortnite tournament! Just like previous ones, we’ve got a total of three hours to battle it out in up to ten matches. Here’s how the points are tallied:
1. Victory Royale (winning a match): 25 points
2. Placement in top 10 (finishing within the top 10 players in a match): Points decrease with each lower placement, starting from 20 for second place, 16 for third, and so on down to 1 point for tenth place.
3. Eliminations (knocking out other players): Each elimination earns 5 points.
4. Bonus points: Additional points may be awarded for various achievements such as most eliminations in a single match or longest survival time. These details will be specified in the tournament rules.
