5 years ago in 2014, actress Rani Mukerji assumed the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy in the movie Mardaani, produced by YRF. The cop thriller became a hit, and in 2019, Mukerji returned for its sequel, Mardaani 2, which also proved to be successful at the box office. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for a third installment of the Mardaani franchise. Earlier this year, TopMob reported that Yash Raj Films is planning to release the third part of this groundbreaking female-led series in Indian Cinema, led by Rani Mukerji.
