Following the phenomenal success of “Stree 2” directed by Amar Kaushik, actress Shraddha Kapoor is carefully planning her upcoming ventures. She’s been reviewing numerous scripts from various production houses like T Series, Dharma, Excel, and more. Now, we’ve learned exclusively that Shraddha Kapoor has finalized her next movie after “Stree 2.” According to our sources, she is collaborating with the director of “Tumbbad,” Rahi Anil Barve, on a distinctive high-concept thriller.
It’s been reported that Shraddha is in discussions with Ekta Kapoor for various projects, one of which is a thought-provoking thriller penned by Rahi Anil Barve. The script has already been finalized, and Shraddha finds the originality of Rahi’s story incredibly appealing. She’s eager and feels that this as-yet-unnamed thriller could serve as an excellent sequel to Stree 2, according to a source privy to the project details.
The source provided additional information stating that Rahi is planning to start work on a project around three to four months from now, aiming to begin filming in the latter half of 2025. Besides this film with Tumbbad director, Shraddha is reportedly discussing a love story with Ekta Kapoor, which will be directed by Mohit Suri, who gained fame from Aashiqui 2. This project would reunite her with Aditya Roy Kapur. The source mentioned that there are other projects being considered for Shraddha, but the specifics are currently confidential.
According to our information, Shraddha is set to appear in at least two movies prior to joining the third installment of the Stree franchise. It’s possible she might make appearances in other films within Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe, but it’s still some time before production begins on Stree 3.
