EXCLUSIVE: Akshay Kumar remembers late Neeraj Vora for his ‘brilliant’ writing in Bhagam Bhag; asserts ‘I learned a lot from him’

As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in cinema, I have to say that Akshay Kumar’s journey through Bollywood is nothing short of inspiring. His latest conversation with TopMob about Khel Khel Mein brings back fond memories of his iconic roles and collaborations, such as the unforgettable scenes from Bhagam Bhag.

Akshay Kumar, now focusing on promoting Khel Khel Mein, recently had an exclusive chat with TopMob with his upcoming film’s cast. In a fun game segment, the actor reminisced about the memorable car chase scene from his 2006 blockbuster Bhagam Bhag. During this discussion, he also fondly remembered Neeraj Vora, the late writer responsible for the screenplay and dialogues of this film directed by Priyadarshan.

Akshay Kumar shared his thoughts about the late Neeraj Vora, a remarkable writer whom he had learned a great deal from, particularly in comedy. A scene from one of their collaborations, Bhagam Bhag, feels as if it was filmed only recently despite being 17 years old. It was delightful for him to work with Govinda again after such a long break.

Made by Suniel Shetty and Dhilin Mehta, Bhagam Bhag is a hilarious ride that featured actors like Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, Razak Khan, Sharat Saxena and Asrani, among others. Initially, it received mixed opinions from critics, but eventually became a box office hit and has since gained a devoted following, earning the status of a cult classic over time.
