Later, we shared with our audience that the team of Border 2 has assembled an extraordinary ensemble cast by combining Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh to portray Indian Armed Forces Officers. Now, we’ve learned exclusively that production for Border 2 is scheduled to commence from November 25 in North India.

For approximately a year, pre-production work has been underway for Border 2, and now the team is preparing to commence filming from November 25th. Anurag Singh and his crew are planning to scout locations for the movie within the next week, with Jammu and Srinagar being their initial choices. It’s been shared that the Border 2 team intends to shoot extensively at authentic sites in and around armed force regions close to India’s borders to create an authentic, rugged atmosphere for the film.

The movie is set to be filmed at actual sites, particularly during intense scenes and action sequences, in order to create a genuine and thrilling war film experience. Producers Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and director Anurag Singh are going all out to deliver a spectacle that both the cinema-viewing audience and the legacy of part one can be proud of.

The threesome of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh are eager to begin the adventure of Border 2 starting from November. “The production will span a six-month period, from November to May, and is aiming for a Republic Day 2026 release. Extensive planning is being done to manage the logistics effectively, ensuring a successful execution of an action-packed and well-established franchise, while adhering to the predetermined deadlines,” the source noted.
