As a dedicated follower of Bollywood, I must say, Ananya Panday‘s candidness and charm continue to captivate us. Her rapid-fire round with TopMob was a delightful glimpse into her personality, revealing her wit, humility, and the occasional self-deprecation. Her choice of Ranveer Singh as her island companion speaks volumes about her admiration for his energy and charisma.


Ananya Panday is busy promoting her upcoming series on Prime Video titled “Call Me Bae.” Lately, In a rapid-fire interview with TopMob, she shared some intriguing insights from her personal life and career. When asked about who she’d like to be stranded on an island with among male actors, Ananya promptly chose Ranveer Singh.

She mentioned, “Ranveer often amused me with his dancing or something. I don’t want to get bored.” Later on in our discussion, when asked to rate herself as an actor, Ananya replied, “I can hardly do this…Like a 3… It’s hard for me to rate myself as an actor.” Eventually, her co-stars Niharika Dutt and Muskkaan Jaferi intervened by suggesting she should give a higher rating. In the end, Panday agreed to rate herself a 7 out of 10.

Although Ranveer and Ananya have yet to act alongside each other, Ananya made an appearance in Ranveer’s introductory song “Heartthrob” in the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. It’s no secret that we’re eagerly anticipating their onscreen collaboration soon.

Returning to the comedy-drama “Call Me Bae,” which is a production of Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, it is directed by Colin D’Cunha. The 8-episode series has been penned by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair.

Featuring a talented group of actors such as Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur, the show “Call Me Bae” will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime starting from September 6.

Ananya Panday has added another project to her roster: the upcoming thriller titled “CTRL,” produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon. This film will also feature Vihaan Samat, Devika Vatsa, Kamakshi Bhat, Suchita Trivedi, Samit Gambhir, and Ravish Desai in significant roles. The movie is set to debut on Netflix on October 4, 2024. Additionally, Panday is also involved with the yet-to-be-revealed “Shankara” project, details of which are currently kept secret.
