At the private TopMob Masterclass led by Himesh Mankad, director Siva was inquired about a potential second trailer for Kanguva. He expressed that they will soon unveil the film’s second trailer. In his words, “Kanguva boasts a substantial plot, filled with emotion and diverse landscapes. As a standalone story, it naturally calls for a sequel. When I began writing Kanguva, it practically demanded a part 2. It was a complete narrative, so it necessitated a continuation. Therefore, we have been preparing a part 2; and we are excited about the movie. We hope and trust that you will all appreciate the film.
Suriya Shares When He Realised That The Story Of Kanguva Needed A Second Part
When asked about the moment Suriya recognized Kanguva as a two-part series, he explained, “As we neared the end of part 1, it became clear that there was more story to tell. We had unfinished business, ongoing events, the reasons behind it all, and the ultimate conclusion. There was potential for a continuation, and indeed, much more could be explored in part 2.

The Run Time Of Kanguva Is 2 Hours And 32 Minutes
As a die-hard admirer, let me share that when I inquired about the final cut of Kanguva’s masterpiece from Director Siva, he divulged that the cut was a lengthy 2 hours 42 minutes. Interestingly, the total footage he filmed amounted to 2 hours 45 minutes. Upon closer examination, it appears the final version has been streamlined to a precise 2 hours and 32 minutes. That’s the exact duration, folks!
In his own words, Siva, the director, shared that his past experiences as an editor and cinematographer have prepared him well for directing Kanguva. He explained that by having hands-on experience with various technical aspects, he was able to skillfully and accurately condense the film into a compelling 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. This timeframe, he believes, will provide an engaging viewing experience for the audience.
