EXCLUSIVE: Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen joins Anupam Kher's Tanvi: The Great

Oh, boy! As a lifelong admirer of cinema, I can hardly contain my excitement as Anupam Kher, the legendary actor and now director, embarks on his next cinematic journey with Tanvi: The Great. And to top it all off, we’ve got none other than Game of Thrones’ very own Iain Glen joining forces with him!

2002 saw Anupam Kher stepping into the director’s chair for the first time with Om Jai Jagdish, a film that has garnered more attention over time through repeated airings on TV. More recently, Anupam Kher announced his upcoming directorial project titled Tanvi: The Great, which started production in Mumbai not long ago. Exclusively, we’ve discovered that the Game of Thrones actor, Iain Glen, has signed on to work alongside Anupam Kher for a significant role in Tanvi: The Great.

Based on reports from people involved in the production, it appears that Iain Glen has already started filming alongside Anupam Kher in Mumbai. The source also shared that Glen’s role in the movie will be significant. What makes this news even more intriguing is that Anupam Kher has assembled a star-studded team for the project, including Oscar winner MM Keervani handling the music and Academy Award winner Resul Pookutty as the sound designer, among other talented individuals. The addition of Iain Glen to this impressive lineup has certainly added to the buzz surrounding the film.

Tanvi: The Great is produced by Anupam Kher himself under his banner Anupam Kher Studios. Below mentioned are some of the images we came across of Iain Glen in deep conversation with Anupam Kher on the sets of the film.

2024 marks a significant milestone for me as I embark on a new journey – directing my first film titled “Tanvi The Great.” Over three years in the making, this musical tale embodies the spirit of #Passion, #Courage, #Innocence, and #Joy.
