As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement as Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya prepare for the premiere of their blockbuster movie, Sky Force! Joining them in this high-flying adventure are none other than Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur. Under the guidance of director Sandeep Kewlani, Sky Force is set to retell the thrilling tale of the Indo-Pak 1965 air war. Recently, I was fortunate enough to secure an exclusive interview with Akshay and Veer, where they opened up about their incredible journey in film, shared stories of triumphs, heartbreaks, and setbacks, and hinted at their future projects! This is one movie you won’t want to miss!
In a conversation with TopMob featuring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, they discussed whether an actor’s true battle commences upon achieving success, as failure can be challenging following a taste of triumph. Akshay Kumar clarified this notion by explaining that struggle is ongoing rather than limited to when one becomes successful. “Struggle continues after your accomplishments and success; struggle arises when trying to maintain your momentum in the industry, especially after your films have been well-received,” he said. “The struggle is about securing your first film, as well as figuring out how to handle and invest your finances.
Akshay Kumar continued by providing instances where everyone faces challenges, such as the interviewer (Himesh Mankad) from TopMob or an audience member who aspires to be a finance minister and is a certified CA. He emphasized that struggle is constant, stating “Struggle doesn’t end for anyone. Your struggle persists. Everyone’s struggle continues. Struggle never ends. You must keep striving. If you don’t strive, there might be something amiss.” The action star then concluded his thoughts.

During the interview, Akshay Kumar was also inquired about the rise in recent movie theater failures. He explained that the primary cause is the emergence of Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms. According to him, many viewers now prefer watching movies from home a few weeks after their initial release, rather than going to the cinema. This shift became particularly noticeable following the COVID-19 pandemic, as suggested by the renowned actor.
