In April 2025, Ali Abbas Zafar and Bhanushali Studios officially teamed up to produce three films spanning various genres. Exclusive reports now confirm that their first film is titled “Parivarik ManuRanjan,” starring Pankaj Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. Sources close to production reveal that Varun V Sharma will direct this upcoming family comedy, known for its unique pairing of a ‘slightly mismatched duo.’ The filming began today, June 5th, in Lucknow. It appears that the makers were seeking a fresh acting pair and found their leads in Pankaj Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari.
The movie is being produced by Vinod Bhanushali and Himanshu Mehra, with creative direction by Ali Abbas Zafar. The scriptwriters for the film are Brijendra Kala and Varun Sharma. Pankaj Tripathi confirmed the news, stating that he couldn’t resist the charismatically simple and hilarious script. He described it as a heartwarming story that subtly catches you off guard. This will be his first collaboration with Aditi, and he admires her acting skills. He is also looking forward to working creatively with Varun Sharma, Ali Abbas Zafar, and producers Vinod Bhanushali and Himanshu Mehra who are supporting a story like this.
