In the upcoming years, the three prominent actors of Telugu descent – Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and NTR Jr – aim to make a significant impact in the all-India market and broaden their presence in Hindi-speaking regions. Insiders familiar with the situation report that Prabhas is planning an impressive slate of major motion pictures, beginning with Fauji, then Spirit, Salaar 2, Kalki 2, and Brahmarakshas. A source revealed, “Prabhas is taking bold steps in the Pan India arena by testing various genres. Fauji is a unique period war film, Spirit is a modern-day cop thriller helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Salaar 2 will reunite him with Prashanth Neel, followed by Brahmarakshas, directed by Prashanth Verma.
Following the success of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun will join forces with director Atlee to work on an extraordinary alternate-reality film. Pre-production for this project is currently underway, and the team aims to begin shooting around August 2025. Atlee intends to develop a completely new world alongside Allu Arjun, and preparations are well in progress. The release of this film is expected in 2027, and Atlee is also working on a mythological period project with director Trivikram, which is also in the pre-production phase.
In the interim, he’s been reading scripts from various industries and has received offers for event feature films from YRF and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. However, a decision about continuing with them hasn’t been made yet. NTR Jr., meanwhile, is engrossed in shooting for Dragon directed by Prashanth Neel, and he has several captivating projects planned for the rest of this decade. Reports suggest that NTR will collaborate with Nelson Dilipkumar, director of Jailer, on a unique action movie. This project is expected to start production in the latter half of 2026. The film will be produced by Naga Vamsi and is currently in the conceptualization stage.
NTR Jr. has multiple projects lined up. First, he’s working on the sequel to his 2024 release, Devara, which is currently in the scripting phase and will start production once he completes shooting for Dragon. Next, War 2 with Hrithik Roshan is set for release in August 2025, followed by Dragon in 2026. After that, either Devara 2 or Nelson’s next project may come out in 2027. Additionally, he’s discussing a two-part film with the director of Hi Nana.
