The way he spoke about Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Kajol filled me with immense respect for these timeless stars. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to their craft are truly inspiring. It’s amazing to see them still going strong even after three decades!

In a thrilling chat with TopMob, I (as a fanboy at heart) delved deep into the creative process behind Karan Arjun alongside its visionary director, Rakesh Roshan. Throughout our engaging conversation, he shared his insights on the remarkable careers of my two favorite actors, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, and the evolving landscape of contemporary cinema. As a fan, I couldn’t help but express my admiration for these superstars, as well as the enchanting Kajol, whose talent shines just as brightly.

He expressed that they are simply fantastic, and this applies to both of them. A round of applause goes out to them, including Kajol. Despite having been in films for over 30 years, they continue to work. It’s truly remarkable. Their determination is commendable, and they have also taken care of their physical health throughout, consistently giving their best.

Originally, Rakesh Roshan said, “They’ve become big stars or superstars (We’ve become big stars or superstars). Regardless of their fame, they remain the same if you meet them. They are still the same diligent boys who strive to do something new and seek fresh experiences.” In simpler terms, he meant that these individuals have achieved stardom but they haven’t changed when you interact with them, as they continue to work hard and explore new opportunities.

When chatting with ETimes, Roshan admitted that having two well-known actors as the main characters might have increased feelings of insecurity, rivalry, and competition. But, before filming began, he had a conversation with SRK and Salman, explaining the entire storyline and their dialogue delivery with emotion.

Under the guidance of director Rakesh Roshan, the movie Karan Arjun premiered in 1995 and featured Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni, Rakhee Gulzar, Amrish Puri among others in significant roles. This drama film tells the captivating story of two reborn brothers who seek vengeance for their father’s murder. Often referred to as a Bollywood icon, it is set to be re-released in theaters on November 22, 2024.
