Ayushmann recently gave us a sneak peek into his ‘fang-tastic’ welcome on set, hinting at an intriguing start to this journey. In an exclusive interview with TopMob, Rashmika has revealed some insights about her role in the film. She playfully teased that her character will be soaring through the air, suggesting that we can expect plenty of adrenaline-pumping action and adventure in store!
In a recent chat with TopMob, Rashmika Mandanna expressed her enthusiasm about her impending role in Thama, where she will star alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. She hinted at the film’s distinctive world by saying, “This is going to be amazing! I’ll be floating around. I can hardly wait!
The actress shared her captivation with the unique world being developed for the movie, stating, “There’s the spy realm and more, but what intrigues me is a universe unlike any other. They’re crafting everything from the ground up – they’re dreaming up concepts, persuading us to accept that these imagined realities could become a reality.
Apart from sharing her passion, she expressed her affection for crafting children’s films, referring to them as “the most delightful audience.” She added, “Creating movies for kids is a source of great pleasure for me. They are truly remarkable. They eagerly invite their parents to the cinema, excited to watch the film on the big screen in the theater. I believe that’s my happiness right there.
In her preparations for the upcoming shoot, Rashmika mentioned, “Tomorrow is when I’ll truly begin filming. I’m commencing ‘Thama’ tomorrow.
Beyond sharing her enthusiasm, the actress from Animal added, “I find myself in an entirely fresh realm since it demands quite a bit of acting – facial expressions and emotions, yes, but also performing some physically demanding, extraordinary feats. This is a whole new challenge for me!
Apart from sharing that she secured the role through manifestation, Rashmika Mandanna mentioned playfully, “I believe I’ve attracted ‘Thama’ (the character) into my life too. I desired to be part of an action-packed and entertaining project.

Yesterday, Ayushmann Khurrana gave a sneak peek of his first day at Thama’s film set. The actor shared two images on social media, highlighting the warm welcome he got from Dinesh Vijan and the crew. One of the cards he received stated, “Dear Ayushmann, It’s fantastic to have you join Maddock’s horror comedy universe. Who else but ‘Ayushmann’ could play the ‘un-dead’ THAMA? We think this role will be one you’ll enjoy sinking your teeth into! Best Wishes, DV.” He tagged his post with “#Thama day 1.
He captioned it, “#Thama day 1.” Another note from a crew member expressed excitement for the project, saying, “Good morning sir, Yeahh Finally its Thama Day…we are so excited to start this Thama journey with you…Hope you have a first day with us…Let’s make bloody good memories…”
